My Hometown NANTONG
This project is a visual map highlighting foreign cuisine spots in my hometown, Nantong, China. As someone who loves exploring global flavors, I noticed it can be challenging for foreigners to find good international food in the city—especially with most reviews only in Chinese. This map is designed to bridge that gap by offering an easy-to-read, bilingual guide that helps non-Chinese speakers discover diverse dining options. It reflects my interest in cross-cultural communication, food culture, and accessible design.
The App
The app is a digital extension of the hometown map. It features bilingual restaurant listings, simplified navigation, user-friendly icons, and curated recommendations based on cuisine type and location.
