Find The Way
How can we imply mindful practice to people without lecturing?
Find the Way is an illustrated children’s storybook I created to gently introduce young readers to the concept of grief and emotional healing. This story book follows Ponpon, a young penguin, who faces an unexpected and heartbreaking reality. He meet the hermit carb, Theo, and they took an adventure into the lands. This is a tale of courage, friendship, and healing, reminding us that even in the face of loss, we can still find hope, love, and a place to belong.

The Process
I researched different ways how children understand grief at different ages. As a designer, I refined the story through each step of the process to make sure it carried emotional meaning. As an illustrator, I focused on creating characters that show real feelings and are easy for children to connect with. This project is very personal to me, and I hope it can bring comfort to kids who are going through difficult times.
This book reflects my ability to turn personal vulnerability into a meaningful narrative that serves others. The purpose of this story is to convey the idea that healing doesn’t always come from finding answers—it can also come from understanding and companionship .
